Become of those who Get Du'a without asking

"Ek to hein Du'a karnaa awr ek hein Du'a karaanaa (Maa/baap se, Ulama/Mashaikh se).
Du'a karo awr Du'a karaao.
Lekin us se unchaa hein Du'a lenaa.
Du'a lene waale bano"

"One is to make Du'a and one is to ask others (Parents, Pious Ulama and Mashaikh etc.) to make Du'a.
So make Du'a yourselves and ask others too to make Du'a
However higher to this is to get the Du'a of others (By being deserving of someone's heartfelt Du'a - and this entails "Dilo ko Raahat pohchaanaa awr kisi tarah ki takleef na pohche - i.e. to be such that no one feels any form heartache or inconvenience and feels nothing but peace and tranquility)
So become of those for whom Du'a is made."

I have heard this from my Shaykh many times. May Allah subhaanahu wata'ala make (Me first) and all of us of those for whom Du'a rises up spontaneously from the depth of the heart of others without our having to even ask them, especially our beloved parents, family and our beloved Mashaikh ...and may Allah subhaanahu wata'ala safeguard (Me first) and all of us from such actions which prevents those heartfelt Du'as from welling up and even worse, from the wabaal (Bad consequences) of those whom our unconcerned words and actions cause Takleef (inconvenience of any kind) and pain, especially our parents and Mashaikh, Aameen.

for providing inspiration to cool the heart of our elders that extreme way, elders get helpless to give du'aa from bottom of heart .....which can be short but concise, and mostly fruitful ...

    Ameen.

Masha'Allah, beautiful post sister, jazakAllah khayran. So many layers of thoughts and prayers come up, subhanAllah!

When I think of the times spontaneous du'aas well up, I find individuals who do good deeds bring it on and always with an "Allahu Akbar!" or "subhanAllah!" or "alhamdulillah!"... Good deeds aside, pain and suffering seems to bring on spontaneous du'aas more often (it may just be me?) and not just towards individual Muslims but towards groups of Muslims, our ummah - begging Allah (SWT) for relief, help, health... May Allah (SWT) accept our du'aas. Ameen.

Then there are those du'aas that aren't spontaneous, are in reply to requests but insha'Allah are sincere none-the-less. May Allah (SWT) accept our du'aas. Ameen.

All things considered, spontaneous du'aas towards individuals for good deeds are very special and I find they do not occur as often. May Allah (SWT) give us the ability to recognize good deeds and increase that spontaneity of gratitude to Him, praising Him and asking Him for forgiveness of and great rewards for those around us... may He let us recognize good deeds and may He let us be of those who do good deeds and receive those special, heartfelt, spontaneous du'aas. May Allah (SWT) accept our du'aas. Ameen.

Dear sis Acacia, Wa'alaykumus salaam ww...aameen to your du'a!
Yes I know what you mean about pain and suffering (and also I find when in deep worry about something or someone) when the du'as which rise up for ourselves and others are from the very depth of the heart. It is at that time when one wholeheartedly turns to the only One Who one knows for sure is able to help and remove the pain, sufferring or worry! There is absolutely no one else who is able!

As for the du'a spontaneously rising from within when someone does something for you, helps you in time of need or says/does something comforting...i have experienced this when someone has done khidmat ina very special way without my asking. The du'a is not initially verbally made in the form of words. I find the love which one feels at that time fills the heart and you wish for them all the khayr of both worlds. It is from this that actual words of du'a emanate - even years later when you remember the incident! This, to me is the unasked Dua which Shaykh mentions.

So true that "even years later when you remember the incident" feelings come from the heart! SubhanAllah... another layer - timeless du'aas. SubhanAllah!
