If one promises to Allah "O Allah I promise you that I'll do such & such'' but one doesn't do, It means one is not true to ones promise.
Many times one has done so. While making all oaths one truly intends to keep promise but could not.

For instance:
One says '' O Allah I promise you that I will never ever read suspense horror stories books''.. but one could not help reading stories..
In the same way, one says, '' O Allah I'll never watch T.V again''.. but again one back out of ones promise..
Also, one says, "O Allah I promise you I'll never lie again in my life''.. but one lies..

One has committed a major sin?? How major sin is it?? He is Allah - The supreme - Not mere a human being but one has backed out of one's promises so it means it's a great great great great grteat great, the greatest sin?? That one have a feeings that Allah'd punish in dunya for breaking His oath, does it really mean Allah'd do so??

Also What's expiation?? Does its expiation is just to say "Astaghfirullah", Is not it seems that it would not suffice?? What special should one do to save from chastisement & Allah's wrath & to gain Allah's pleasure??

At my present job it is tricky for me to spend too long to do wudhu and salah, hence why I do at least all the fard aspects for both before getting back to work.

My question is about the fard aspect of masah of the head in wudhu.
What is the minimum portion of the head that can be wiped for masah, and does this portion of the head have to include a certain part of the head or start from a certain place?

I ask this bcos I currently do masah from my forehead back towards my hair crown. But bcos I have not much hair on top and it takes ages to comb back into an office-acceptable style I'd rather just start masah from my neck upwards ending at my crown.
Is this permissible?

p.s. plz no clever non-alim replies like "why not just wear a topi". Hats are not allowed in my business.

asalaam alaikam what is the ruling on following another madhaabs ruling do we need to adopt the ruling and all that comes with it? e.g. if you wanna pray salah like a shafi do you need to do all the salah how a shafi does it im curious as i know talfiq is haraam but is all of it haraam or does it depend on the situation and circumstances?

second question in hanafi fiqh i read prawns are differed about some say haraam some say halal others say stay away from it if we have ikhtilaaf amongst the ulama in our madhaab who do we follow or can we follow any opinion as long as its in the same madhaab??? as this is something that has confused me.

third question if i travel and its asr time but the people follow the shafi view but I follow hanafi view is it ok to pray asr with those who follow imam shafis view or should i delay it till its two shadow length?

last question I got a friend who suffers badly from masturbation and well he is worried about things for example when he masturbates he stops but madhi comes out sticky fluid and it didnt gush out it just comes out due to excitement but it didnt spurt or gush out so if madhi is emitted as we know wudu is required plus istinjaa is this the case with one who masturbates but no semen comes out only madhi? he examined the fluid and it was sticky he is confused as he has not seen a specific ruling on this case if you masturbate but dont ejaculate and sticky fluid comes out
