    Question Hadith rejection in Pakistan

    As sallamu alaikum

Can any of the Pakistani brothers inform me as to what the level of Hadith rejecting fitna is in Pakistan. I'm asking because I just came across a website by an M.D. who slanders the Ulema and quotes Ahadith which he thinks are immoral, sick, degrading etc.

    Wa alaikum as sallam

outright hadith rejectors are very few, even hadith rejectors in disguise (followers of Ghamidi, Islahi, Imadi etc.) do do not have much of a following.

Jazak Allah Khair. Have anyone of you heard of Dr. Shabbir Ahmed M.D??? He runs a Hadith rejecting website and slanders the Ulema.

i did see an article of his on a website, where he falsely claims that Fadhail-e-Aa'mal says do not try to understand the Quran ever or something like that. Never heard of him offline though.

Yeah I just skimmed over his website the other day and he was quoting Ahadith which he thought were immoral, sick and disgusting. He also slanders the Ulema-people like Maulana Rumi, Ashraf Thanwi, Haji Imdadullah (Rahmatullahi Alayhum) etc. and calls them "Mullas".

    assalaamu alaikum
have heard of another group in pakistan called toul-e-islam.They filtered here to the UK and corrupted a lot of peoples mind into denying hadith and following just the literal meaning of the quran and nothing else. The man who founded this group dies about 10 years ago i think but his followers in this countrry still exist and have occasional meetings. Its very difficult to convince these people of hadith.May alllah guide them inshallah.
