The Gibraltar Educational Initiative presents a special one day
program:

"Authenticity & Tradition in a Modern Context"

This program will seek to, through the examination of Islamic legal
principles as well as specific issues, explain what
"authenticity" and "tradition" should mean to us
in a modern context. Contemporary issues like Women's rights,
Pluralism, and diversity of thought/opinion are to be explored in
order to demonstrate modern manifestations of the Islamic
"tradition" and its practical application in our lives.
