Question concerning Walima in the masjid
I need a few suggestions about hold a walima in teh masjid. I need ideas about how they're done? can they be fun and within islamic etiquette in teh masjid? what can you do and what can you not do? any ideas because I have no idea because I've never been to one.
Any suggestions will be MOST helpful.

Most walimas I've been to are just food and social gatherings. Allahu Alim.
I'm sure the prophet wouldn't have invited the backstreet boyz to his walima (jokes,jokes)
But in all seriousness,
The Prophet said, 'Give a walima (wedding banquet) even if with one sheep .' " No. 1926 bukhari
No. 4819 - Narrated Anas:
The Prophet stayed for three days at a place between Khaibar and Medina, and there he consummated his marriage with Safiyya bint Huyay. I invited the Muslims to a banquet which included neither meat nor bread. The Prophet ordered for the leather dining sheets to be spread, and then dates, dried yogurt and butter were provided over it, and that was the walima (banquet) of the Prophet

So you see, that the prophet's Walimas were not very fancy, Some were more than others, My advice is that you do what ever is easy for you and what your guests will enjoy.
So why O why do they not reject the likes of these ascriptions to individuals who are not protected from mistakes? However, as for the one who ascribes himself to the Salafus-Saalih collectively - then he ascribes himself to that which is protected from mistakes."
