Asalamualaikum,
I've been debating on taking one of their classes, but I barely hear of people taking them (I just hear AlMaghrib). So I was wondering if anyone has taken them and how they are content wise, etc.

The classes are quite indepth I found. I do not kno which class you intend to take, but there is a lot most anyone can learn from them. All the teachers I had were good as well. I have heard that the course on Hanafi fiqh using Imam Shurunbulali's Maraqi as-Sa'adat (I think that is the title) is extremely good and you should be able to deal with most situations you will encounter in your life on your own after taking it (in areas of worship).
I intend on taking either the Maliki fiqh class (if they have it) or the course on aqidah over the summer insha'allah. They are very beneficial.
As'salamu 'alaykum,
Sunnipath classes are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

Same here, excellent indeed!

Alhamdolilah, I was expecting a few more replies, but Jazkallah for the info.

as sallamu alaikum
i have been taking clasees since 2003. I taken other online courses and none of them compare to SunniPath. The only way on will find anything compareable to Sunnipath one will need to travel to the lands of the muslims and actually sit at the feet of the Shyukh. The only way and its a big one let not let us kid ourselves sunnipath differ from sitting at the feet of the shuyukh its a tremedous blessing and a honor to sit with these true men of Allah. But SunniPAth is the next best thing second to none. One will not be dissappoionted. Some of the same text used in a traditonal text used are used at sunnipath ie in shafi'i the matn of abi shuja, maqasid imam Nawawi, In Aqeedah Jawaharat tawheed from ibrahim Laqani etc, etc,. For those unable to travel to study the din and wish to study they really should turn to sunnpath. Even if one just wants to learn ther fard ayn which is fard on every muslim once they reach the age of moral responbility(taklif). there are classes for all levels inshaa Allah
As'salamu 'alaykum,
I agree with what has just been said as well. I've known people who have taken distance courses, and I don't mean to sound elitest (but I often do) but most of them are garbage. Most distance courses are modeled on Western paradigms, and they don't transmit the knowledge at the same level of authority. In addition to methodology issues.
I have taken private lessons from a student of knowledge from Morocco, both in person and over the phone. And I have to say that the Sunnipath courses are no less beneficial than those one on one sessions. The teachers at Sunnipath have taught so much that there are very little questions that remain unanswered in the recorded sessions, and if you are prepared for the live sessions, then the few questions you may have will be answered 80% of the time. The rest can be posted to the class forum, where they will be answered in perhaps more detail than the live session would have.
They are extremely faithful to the traditional, while they have flawlessly utilized modern technology without compromising integrity. The only down side that I have ever seen were technical issues that go with running such a program from the Arab world, and the unforunate movements of Shaykh Walead that made him unable to complete his courses. But it seems that they have resolved the technical issues buy purchasing and running a dedicated server and I hope Shaykh Walead returns once he settles.
