On the day that he died while they were trying to wash him for burying, he opened his eyes and looked at them, they being strong in faith just told him “O sharif, we are only trying to wash you for burying in the Sunnah of the prophet (pbuh)” hearing this he at once closed his eyes, and they swore that every time they wanted him to turn for washing he did it on his own.

This one is Odd. Why did they need to tell him that they were only giving him Ghusl
