Default are you ready for this day....?

Bismisllah, alhamdulillah, wa sallallahu ^ala sayidi rasulillah

I ask Allah to save us from the tribulation of this life, and let us die as Muslims.

Assalamu Alaykum, brothers and sisters, young and old..

    I have a question..

do you think are you ready for that day?
Are you as prepared as you would be when you have an important meeting?
or are you as ready as when you have an important exam at the university or college?
are you as ready for your monthly review for your school or work??
did you ask yourself truly if you are .. ready to see it?

Let us picture all together this day..

    The day of ...

    The Gathering ..

    The day of al-hashr..

    The day of assembly..

It is true, it's all coming.

We believe for sure that it will happen. After the resurrection, the people will be gathered in one place.

This is Among the basics of the Islamic creed is to believe in the Gathering. After the Resurrection, there will be two angels guarding him. This is a sign that he will not be able to escape. All the people will be gathered in one place. This place is the changed earth (al-ardul-mubaddalah).

The Gathering will be on the changed earth, which is flat without mountains or valleys, just like a piece of tanned leather. It is more vast than this earth of ours, and it has a colour similar to the colour of silver.

After the Resurrection, Allah will transform this earth and give another form and different attributes. Allah will make it flat, without any mountain or valley in it. It is completely flat. The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, was asked where the people will be when the earth is changed. The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said “^Indas-Sirat,” which means “Next to the Sirat.” Muslim narrated this from the Prophet.

After the Resurrection, the people will be transported to a dark place next to As-Sirat. Then the earth will be changed. Then they will be again transported to the changed earth. Allah transforms this earth after removing the people from it. All of the earth will be made flat and silver in colour.

When the people are gathered there, the angels will surround them. This is another sign that the people cannot escape on that Day. All the nations of all the prophets will be 120 rows. That is, all the people of Paradise will be 120 lines. 80 of these lines will be from the ummah of Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam.

When the Gathering occurs, the people will be moving in the direction of the land of Ash-Sham. It is the center of the Gathering. Specifically, towards Palestine, because Palestine is the center of the land of Sham. Most of the prophets were in Palestine. Among the known graves of prophets are the graves of Nabiyy Ibrahim, Nabiyy Ishaq, Nabiyy Ya^qub and Nabiyy Yusuf. So Palestine is the center of the Sham area.

The people will be gathered in three ways............

    1. The first group will be gathered while clothed, riding female camels with gold saddles, and they will be fed. These are the pious people.

    2. The second group will be gathered without shoes and they will be naked. These are the enormous sinner Muslims.

    3. The third group will be gathered while dragged on their faces. These are the blasphemers.

we ask Allah to protect us, and enable us to prepare from the good deeds for that day..

................ are you ready for that day?
.... how much have you prepared for it?

Subhana Allah, I was listening to a lecture this morning about the hereafter. It is really something to think about as we do every deed. Everything will be accounted for. WE MUST be careful and always strive to exceed in our efforts to build our iman to a higher status. Ya Allah, have mercy on this ummah, guide the ones who seem to be blinded by this dunya, bless those who remember you and guide us all to the jannah. Ya Allah, protect all of us from the hellfire and protect us from the evil deeds that will bring us close to it. ameen

Sheikh Saleem Dhorat was saying yesterday in majlis that so many people who are going through difficulties say that at least the pain will go away once i have passed away. But how do we know Allah will be happy with us once we depart from this world. This worlds limited and the hereafters unlimited.

In this world we always have hope, but in the hereafter if Allah is displeased with us, where do we run to. SubhanAllah may Allah make us realise that our life in this world is only temporary, and that the true life is in the hereafter.

He gave an example of being in the airport. Its just a temporary waiting place, we dont build a house and get a comfy bed.We just sit there for a while because we know we will be departing for our final destination soon. Thats how this world is. Just a temporary waiting area.

May Allah make us realise that our life in this world is only temporary, and that the true life is in the hereafter.
