    salaam,

    ws

ive got the number of the founder of the institute. i'll ask the sheikh on sunday to give the number as i dont think it's a good idea to give his personal number w/o asking. i'll ask them to put it up on their site. i think they had it on there before but they're redesigning now and they took it off. insha Allah will try to get back to you by sunday.
    JazakAllah brother.

salaam, jz for the info brother but I work with a consultancy firm, my shifts and working patterns change week to week, it wouldnt be fair to commit myself to somewhere like as-suffa where I assume they hold regular classes at fixed times. With a private teacher there could possibly be more flexibility.

And giving up work is not an option!!

do u also work on the weekend and evenings?

how about doing courses on sunnipath.com ?

If a person wants to measure his nearness to Allah, he should apply the following formula given by Shaykh Gangohi:

“A person’s nearness to Allah is proportional to his distance from his own ego and self [nafs].”

To be honest I'm a little sceptical about online courses, although my doubts may be unfounded! Have you done any of them, are they any good?

Just doesnt have the same appeal as sitting with a teacher in a masjid, although I do appreciate given circumstances it can sometimes be the only option.

    salaam,

Brother, I just asked Hafiz Asam and unfortunately he ses, he is unable to teach privately but he can teach u if u come to the lessons.

But, wen i rang hafiz saib, i think he was in a rush so maybe he never understood me. Therefore, i suggest u ring u him inshallah. His mobile number is 07812102427.

If u tell him your sitution, perhaps he might be able to teach u privately. If he can't , then ask him if he knows someone who can provide private tuition on Hifz Inshallah.

May Allah grant you sucess in this life and the hereafter. Ameen.
