    Smile Rules Rules

    - Please read these rules at least once through. Please do not see them as harsh restrictions, but rather limits for all of us so we do not break the laws of Allah or go against the sunnah of our beloved Nabi -

    Section 1: User info

    1.1 You must use your correct information when registering.

    1.2 You must truthfully indicate your gender.

    1.3 You may register with either your real name, or a nickname.

    1.4 Private messaging is only allowed to registered members of the same gender. You can request access by clicking on "User CP" followed by "Group Memberships".

    1.5 You need to regularly check that your email is working, and that mail sent to you through is actually being received in your mail box. Therefore, do not use fake email addresses to register.

    1.6 No impersonation. Do not impersonate any person or entity, forum leaders, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

    1.7 Do not register under a obscene or slanderous name. The Admins will replace names created at the time of registration that are obscene or slanderous.

    1.8 Members are not permitted to register more than one account on the forum. Any members violating this rule will have their accounts merged. Repeated violations will result in a ban.

    Section 2: Restrictions

    2.1 Private messaging to the opposite gender has been disabled. Please do not contact Admins to turn this on.

    2.2 This is an Islamic forum and thus Islam will be respected. This means STRICTLY no slander against Allah (SWT), all previous Prophets of Islam (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon them), Prophet Muhammad, Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him, and the Prophet's companions, May Allah be pleased with all of them, the 4 revered imams, as well as current-day and previous scholars of Islam.

    2.3 No personal insults, racial slurs or swearing. No foul languages against the Admin, Moderators or other members.

    2.4 Do not type in capital letters, unless for a word or sentence. Capital letters are regarded as 'shouting' at others.

    2.5 No postings of military uniforms, aircraft's, tanks, weapons of nations that has harmed Islam and are responsible for the deaths of many Muslims in their icon settings, signature or forum postings. Equally this applies to our Muslim brothers and sisters. Since our goal is to establish Islam in a peaceful manner, images as such maybe interpreted as a violent call.

    2.6 Praising the killing of any civilian, arguing in favour of, or providing any links to such arguments are strictly not allowed. No postings in favour or supporting the actions of any group or government that takes illegal actions are allowed. Violators will be banned immediately without delay.

    2.7 Do not promote or provide instructional information about illegal activities, promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual, or promote any act of bestiality and cruelty to animals. This may include, but is not limited to, providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other weapons.

    2.8 management is committed to complying with the law.     2.9 Do not post anti-Islamic links. Categorically, this is an attack and slander against Islam.

    2.10 Newly registered members are not allowed to advertise their own sites, or post "new site!" type messages, until they have posted at least 100 posts. Otherwise, such threads/posts will be deleted. reserves the right to edit out any site/add any site to the word filter.

    2.11 Do not upload, post or otherwise transmit any contents that is unlawful (haram), harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

    2.12 We refuse to accept any advertising, promotions, or solicitations from Members who are strictly outside the fold of Islam (as such the Ahmadiyyah Movement), as well as groups and organizations who promote terrorism/violence. You are welcome to join and participate but you may not encourage or promote your opinions or beliefs.

    2.13 We encourage vibrant and educated discussions and debates, however, we reserve the right to limit and close any given discussion when we see fit.

    2.14 Do not flood the forum with random long postings that are impossible to read.

    2.15 Please do not post the same thing to multiple forums, they will be removed.

    2.16 No un-Islamic icons of unveiled women, no nudity pictures or porn links. This is reason for immediate banning.

    2.17 No foul language against the Admins, Moderators, other members, or anyone else.

    2.18 Names, avatar messages, signatures, or postings must not contain anything Islamically inappropriate or against Islamic etiquette (i.e. obscene, suggestive, physically descriptive, etc., including names such as sweet_princess, cutie_pie, 6pack_jihadi, dark_prince, etc.).

    2.19 Avatars CANNOT contain faces or outlines of people, including cartoon drawings. Nor can they contain weapons, or imply any hatred to any group of people/religion. Avatars containing images related to movies, musicians, etc., are also not allowed. Such avatars will be removed. reserves the right to remove any avatar deemed to be inappropriate. This also applies to any photographs or pictures in signatures, and the like in the main body of any post.

    2.20 is not a marriage agency, therefore marriage ads, spam, advertisements will not be accepted.

    2.21 Forum privileges are taken away from banned users. Banned users are only permitted to read and post in the Jail Khana forum. They are not allowed to give anyone else access to this room, nor are they allowed to attempt to read other rooms. If the Admins/Moderators see it fit to unban users, these users will no-longer have access to the Jail Khana forum. Only banned users, Ulema, Admins and Moderators are allowed to access the Jail Khana forum.

    2.22 The admin/moderators have discretion over banning members.

    2.23 After much consultation and reflection the Shura of has unanimously decided that any discussions relating to jihad are strictly not allowed on If any such discussions are created, all associated threads and posts will be removed immediately from our forum. However, please note this does not in anyway mean we do not agree with such an integral part of our Deen. We take the safety, security and peace of mind of our members, the Shura, Moderators and Ulama of our forum very seriously and it is for this reason we have decided will not cater for any jihad related discussions.     Section 3: Posting Guidelines

    3.1 Read the previous threads so as not to bring up a topic that has been discussed ad nauseum. has a search feature - use it to see if topics have already been discussed.

    3.2 Please follow the general Islamic guidelines of Adaab (proper conduct relating to each other and with the opposite gender).

    3.3 Please remember that literally thousands of people are reading your words, including many non-Muslims.

    3.4 Use wisdom and kindness when speaking to each other AND to non-Muslims.

    3.5 Exercise courtesy at all times. Think and review your post carefully before submitting. Please use the edit or delete button if needed. Avoid personal insults or flames. Please do not involve yourself in something that does not concern you. If you are joking, make sure other members do not take it the wrong way.

    3.6 Please read the forum description before posting or opening a new topic, i.e. post in the relevant Forum Categories. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Members should use a "normal font", avoid excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, and punctuation's (e.g.! and?) in your posts. Avoid excessive use of capital letters. This is considered shouting on public forums. Please do not attempt to disguise your text by using *asterisk* or -dashes- to override our language filter (word censor).

    3.7 contains specific Brother- and Sister- only rooms. Only the appropriate members are allowed to enter these rooms. Although the Administrators and Moderators can attempt to control this, we realise some may access these forums without our knowledge. Ultimately, it is an honour system, and Allah swt is watching and WILL hold violators accountable on the Day of Judgement. Do not let temporary curiosity lead you into gaining the wrath of Allah swt.

    3.8 When interacting with the opposite gender on the main public forums, please maintain modesty and make posts to the point and platonic. Extraneous, provocotive or suggestive comments will be edited or deleted.

    3.9 No public posting of private e-mail addresses in general forums. Private e-mail addresses may ONLY be posted by brothers and sisters in their respective rooms. (i.e. Sisters in sisters' forum, brothers in brothers' forum).

    3.10 Smilies are allowed on all forums. However, once again, please maintain modesty and refrain from excessive usage of smilies, especially on public forums. Smilies can also be considered extraneous, provocative or suggestive, and therefore the Admins and Moderators have full rights to edit such postings.

    Section 4: Admin/Moderator Permissions

    4.1 is not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

    4.2 is not responsible for any external links posted or the content to be found on such sites. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of content on any external sites. Neither do we necessarily support, condone or agree to the content of any of these sites. It is the responsibility of the user to evaluate the content and usefulness of information from other sites. Since is not responsible for the availability of any outside resource or link, or their contents, you should direct any concerns regarding any external link to its administrator or webmaster.

    4.3 The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this board.

    4.4 Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the Admins or Moderators immediately by email, or report the post on the forum.

    4.5 We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

    4.6 People are free to discuss issues and topics, but please remember the Admins and Moderators have full right to edit/delete any posts at any time seem feel fit.
