Default Can Allah have a Personal Form?

Does it say in Qu'ran if Allah can have a Personal Form?

I asked on Many Muslim forums and they said, some say yes of cource. But others not. Why are their so many mixed reactions?

Either He does or He doesn't right?

But if He doesn't then that means Allah is not Supreme. If God can't take a form that's eternal, this means God has no power. But why do Muslims not think about this? That's what I'd like to know.

Allah subhanahu wa Ta'ala does not have a form. to say the opposite is antromorphism, wich unfortunatly has affected our community in these times. Allah tells us that He is unlike creation in every way, to say that He has a form is likening Him to the creation wich obviously has a form, and it is to place a limit on Him.

to add to this, we also believe He is not in a place, he is not bound by the 6 directions, since direction is a created by Him. and He is not bound by time.

How does saying He has form liken Him to creation? His form obvisouly would not be material.

    As-salamu 'alaykum,

Form in the material sense, no, Form in the Platonic sense, yes. We know Allah, SWT, through His Names and Attributes--the Merciful, the Just, the Peace, the King--so many Forms, which are all One in Him. These Forms or Names are reflected on earth, and in the heart of man. So it is through these Divine Qualities, and not some physical form that we know the Form of God.

    Take care,
    Abu Abdallah

Okay. So you don't believe Allah can have form?

If YOU can have an eternal form in heaven.
Then why do you say God cannot?

We can kill ourselves, God cannot kill himself.

God can only do that which is contingently possible because his existence is rationally neccessary and is extinction is rationally impossible.

God is beyond time and space and he exists without location. Thus God is not "everywhere" but exists without a location.

Are you trying to preach to me? Or answer my question?
