    Default Starting a New Muslim group in Bradford, any takers?

    Assalaamu a'laykum

    I am about to start a new Muslim group in Bradford. Generally converts feel isolated and intimidated - being the ethnic minority - at the local masjid. Also converts have great difficulty in the simple practices which most established Muslims take for granted; having learnt them at the madrassa or at home. So this group will tackle these issues if not a few more insha'Allah. I have worked for Leeds new Muslims (www.leedsnewmuslims.org.uk) and have very close links with Nottingham new Muslims (www.nottsnewmuslims.com)... the aim is to make a national network. Anyway, does anyone have any advise or anyone willing to help?

    PS: And definately no unorthodox sects!!! A friend died because of them
