    Default Intensive Summer Arabic Courses?

Can anyone recommend an intensive Arabic study program (July - August 2007)? I'm planning to study Arabic next year in the summer, insha' Allah, and need help choosing.

Also, could someone please comment on this article?

If you want to study in the Middle East, I would recommend Qasid in Jordan or Badr in Yemen.

K...cool... We're planning a two month (July-August 2007) Arabic/Islamic Studies intensive next year at our campus with boarding. It's still in the planning stages as of yet. Our campus is near Toronto, Ontario.

Check out our two websites for now:

    Mawlana Nazim,

Wow! insha' Allah, that sounds like what we were hoping for. Just a few questions:

    1. Is the medium of instruction Urdu or English? I'm just double-checking because Dar ul-'Ulums usually teach in Urdu, right?
    2. How long is the 'alim/'alimah program?
    3. Could you keep me posted about the summer intensive course by email or something?

    1) The medium of instruction is English.

    2) The Alimah Program is 6 years long for non-High School Grads. For High School Grads (over the age of 18), it's 4 intensive years excluding the sihah sittah year.

    3) Yup...no problem....check out the website.....

In mid-August, we have about 170 people who will be staying at our campus for a one week camp. Last month, we had about 80 from the Niagara Falls area. So, Alhamdulillah people really enjoy staying here because of the many buildings and the modern facilities.
