Actually, the sentence you spoke means "how are you?? i'm very well".
Urdu isn't that hard, its like Arabic, same letters(apart from the odd ones) and some words are the same too.
But Urdu is a wonderful language MashAllah, and many great works and poems have been written in it such as about Holy Prophet(SAW).
Wa Salaam

Despite being a language that is easy to learn according to many, few resources in the English language for learning Urdu have been recommended by native speakers for doing so.
Urdu is not an easy language to learn, especially if you are a native English speaker. Urdu requires effort and practice to pick-up, especially the accent.
To make it even more tricky, Urdu incorporates masculine and feminine verb forms and adjectives and has an hierarchy of address which can change the way a sentence is constructed i.e. "aap", "tum", "tu" which all translate to "you" but in descending order of politeness.
Take away the masculine/feminine and hierarchy aspect and Urdu would be easy to master.
Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal
i feel myself alot lucky to be born in urdu native country. otherwise i would have missed the big knowledge through scholars of deoband, scholars like Maulana Hussain Ahmed Madni r.a, Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi r.a, Maulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri r.a, Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahab d.b and Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed Sahab damat barakatuhu aaliyah.
is liye apnay aap ko is baray mein khush qismat samajhta hoon -)

hmm.. also all the tablighi ulema (Maulana Ilyas r.a, Maulana Yusuf khandhalvi r.a, Maulana Ahmed bhawl puri, Maulana Tariq Jameel) they all are wonderful and Allah's big blessing for us in the time of such great fitnah seen everywhere.

Its, mai bohot achi(feminine) ho.Originally Posted by scents of paradise
Or mai bohot acha(masculine) ho.
BUT, ham bohot achei(plural) ho is correct if you represent a group.
Also, in Urdu, we have the word, P. In Arabic i don't think its there. So how do you pronounce Pakistan in Arabic?? I heard its called "Bakistan".
