Default ANSWERED: Loving Someone For The Pleasure Of Allah?

    As salaamu alaikum

What is meant by loving someone for the Pleasure of Allah? Does it mean choosing friends with good ahlaaq with the intention of emulating and learning from the good Islamic habits of the friend ( and in doing so please Allah)? I have never fully understood what Loving Someone For The Pleasure Of Allah means

    JazakAllahu Khairun
    Was salaam
"Alam ya’lam bi an-nal laha yaraa"

Translation--> "Does he not know that verily Allah is watching"

    (Surah 96 Verse 14).

in a nutshell"to do good to those that have done good to you is easy but to do good to those whom you dislike and would not easily forgive is the higher quality.a brother has harmed you do you give equal back, forgive ,or give good in return.its not easy.

Ok this is what the hadeeth means.
Firstly it happens most of the time that we love some one for some reason. Like some one has wealth and thats why a person likes the wealthy person, or because of beauty or fame and so on.
But the hadeeth is trying to say, love some one (a good person) for the sake of allah alone.
say for instance a person loves allah, now you should love that person for the sake of allah because he loves allah. There shouldnt be any 'garz' in it.
The books give examples of two sheikhs. One from syria while the other from japan. They both love each other for Allah alone. Because they both see good in each other.
Duh Am I messing it up/
    Hope you get me.
when you love some one, love them for allah. not for any worldly reasons.

Also some people love other good peole or sheikhs becasue they want to become famous with them/like them. But hadeeth means love for allah alone.

Love the particular person with the reason that Allah will be happy.

Find no other reason to love that person. For example loving someone for wealth or ash ADIDAS mentioned for worldly reasons.

Just love em so Allah becoms happy.

If you love for his sake what do you love for? His pleasure? or otherwise?

Maybe same thing but different way of saying it?

    Enlighten me.. i'm ignorant

Sake is passive, pleasure is active. Last time I tried to answer this question with my limited knowledge it took about 2 hours. I need to learn how to be more concise. Insh'Allah.
