Thanks for moving my post, however I can not access it myself (I Do not have 50 posts to apply for membership).

But to the last person who responded:

Well the obligation of Taqlid is on me, and if the scholar I follow has mislead me - the sin is on him - so if i choose to make Taqlid of a Salafi Scholar (such as shaikh ibn baz, or shaikh ibn uthaymeen) - if My prayer is not valid - it is on him - and not my fault

(But I respect that you believe I 'should' adhere to one of the 4 schools, but the 4 schools took their time to codify as well and in between the opinions were not always settled - so that means in between it is possible, people were following 'not the greatest scholarship, etc.'

But I did make sure my prayer is valid at least according to one madhab (just to be safe) it already was
