    Default Question about Jummah

If a muslim male happens to live in a city/community in which there are no arrangments for Jummah and it isn't feasible for him to travel a long distance to another city/community because of restrictions such as the length of a lunch break @ work, then according to the Hanafi Fiqh what should this person do and what options are available to him?

Wa Alaikum Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

If there is no masjid but there are Muslims, the Muslims need to unite and organize a jumah each week. It could be at a public place or at a home, office, or anywhere that is suitable to hold salaah.

If you are the only Muslim, I would try to find the closest masjid. If it is too far away, I would consider moving because jumah is fard.
