Default Actions in salah according to Hanafi Madhab

    Asalam alaykum-

I would like to know if i follow actions which are not prescribed in madhab- is it permissable?

for example raising hand befoer going into ruku
    saying ameen loud in jamaat
or when the imam has finished salah, when he say asalam alaykum wr- second time, then i end my salah?

or do i have to stick with the teachings of abu hanifa r.a?

Who said it is wajib bro?
Thats not the mu'tamid position in the Hanafi school.

No, it is not compulsory for a Muslim to strictly follow one school in all positions.

    See:

    and

    Sticking to One School

It is not religiously binding on the Muslim to stick to one school on all matters, without exception, as both al-Tahtawi and Ibn Abidin (Allah have mercy on them), the two leading late authorities for fatwa in the Hanafi school, both explain. Rather, there is nothing wrong with taking a dispensation if there is a need; what is impermissible is to make it a habit to seek out dispensations [i.e. even if there is no hardship or need].
Following another madhhab completely in a complete action, however, is valid according to the majority of the scholars of usul al-fiqh, and fuqaha, on the condition that there not be a systematic seeking out of dispensations. This was confirmed by Ibn Abidin in his Hashiya, Tahtawi in his Hashiyat al-Durr, Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi in his Sharh al-Tariqa al-Muhammadiyya and in his treatise on ijtihad, taqlid and talfiq, and is the position adopted by the Syrian Hanafi scholars.
As regards for rafal-yadain(raising hands) and saying Amin aloud in Salaah, you should not do it as it is disliked as you are Hanafi.

    Q. A person who does not have any knowledge of Qur’aan and Sunnah, he is one of the common folk. What is the ruling for such a person to move from one Mazhab to another Mazhab?

    A. This is not permitted. It is fulfilling the desires and it becomes a play. Aqdul-]ayyid, Insaaf, Sabeelur-Rashaad, AI-Iqtisaad, Intisaarul-Haq, Tayseer and At-Taqreer wat-Tahbeer, have all stated the detailed evidence regard-ing this issue.

JazakAllah Khair for posting that. Yes i understand where the pak/indian scholars get there fatwas from, its quite difficult for people to meet scholars of other madthabs and their books and thus know the rulings for them, thats why they have not been allowed to take from other madthabs by the general Ulema there as was explained in the Sunnipath link, the second above.

I wouldn't agree, especially when we are living in the west and at time it becomes very difficult to follow our own madthab 100%. So it is allowed as long as the rules that are in the links above are observed.

Plus, according to the reliance of the traveller, it is allowed to provided that certain conditions are met.

No bother, Shaikh Abdul Hay Lukhnawi was not a Deobandi even though he was close to them, he was from Lukhnow and they have their own madrassa system. And yea He was more liberal. Its not allowed according to any senrior Deobandi scholar.
