    Lightbulb Fasting

    Don't forget to fast tomorrow (Yawm-e-Arafah - 9th Dhul-Hijjah)!

It is Sunnah to fast on the ninth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah. Abu Qataadah reports that the Prophet s.a.w said: "Fasting the Day of 'Arafah (9th of Dhul-Hijjah) will be credited with Allah by forgiving one's sins of the previous year and the following year.” Muslim

"No servant (of Allah Most High) fasts one day in the way of Allah, except that Allah Most High removes his face from the fire because of it seventy years." Bukhari and Muslim.

    Remember everyone in your Dua's.

    Asalam Alaikum.

    A'salamalikum, respected sister.

I was actually going to ask about this day and so I thought why not scroll down and see if anyone had already posted a topic. And the title 'fasting' caught my eye, thank you very much for the information just wanted to ask why, and got my answer.
