Our dear Br. Hanif (basair.wordpress.com) has informed us that Mufti Mahmud Ashraf `Uthmani suffered a heart attack and is in intensive care.
I would request everyone to please make du`a for him. He is a wonderful scholars from what I hear, and one of the Akabir of this Ummah.

Mufti Mahmood Ashraf Uthmani hafidhahullah is the grandson of Mufti Muhammad Shafi'and the nephew of Mufti Muhammad Taqi hafidhahullah. He is one of the deputy Mufti's (I think) of the Darul Iftaa at Darul Uloom Karachi. He also teaches hadith there.
