A residential spiritual retreat on the way of traditional Sufism, under the auspices of our beloved Murshid of the Shadhili tariqa, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Ya'coubi.

Other scholars present will be:
Shaykh Faisal Abdul Razaq, the naqeeb of Shaykh Muhammad in Canada.
Shaykh Gibril Haddad, distinguished author of several works in Arabic and English.
Shaykh Akram Nadwi, a scholar from Oxford (UK).

but for bringing it up again. Hertfordshire is only just outside London you know! There are, I understand, a few places left for the spiritual retreat. If people are able to go I would recommend it strongly, it's not every day that we are given the opportunity to sit at the feet of such ulema.

Inshallah there will also be a talk delivered by Shaykh Muhammad Yaqoubi at Hounslow masjid after 'Isha ('isha being at 7:30) on Wednesday 17th January.

It's confirmed,
I know Shaykh Gibril is coming to England too, but I don't know whether he'll be coming to the talk in Hounslow. As far as I understand only Shaykh Muhammad will be speaking.

There is a conference happening on Saturday the 20th....you just can't miss it....free entry...birmingham central mosque....with all 3 of the big-timers: Shaykh Muhammad al Yaqoubi, Shaykh Dr G.F Haddad and Shaykh Faisal Razaq.....what you got to lose?

I thought i'd point this out because several brothers i have contacted got confused about the Spiritual Retreat programme.
