    One of our local book seller has a pile of Roald Dahl (and many similar things). I do not think we Muslims should swim in such waters. If you want intellectual stimulation then I suppose their might be enough Islamic challenges. For relaxation too there can be good avenues.

    I am reading "Developing khushu' in the prayer".Sadly I read lots of books ,when it comes to act upon it I lack far behind.

    I dont see anything wrong with Roald Dahl books. He's a children's author, none of his book have any filth, nor do they contain anything un-islamic.

    By Scotland Yard, are you referring to the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service of London? If so, are you implying that they are a bad police force?

    No, my impression is that they are legendary. The trouble is that if you are at the site you have reasons to fear even if it is SY that is doing the investigation.
