    al-‘Aqida al-Tahawiyya by Imam Abu Ja’far al-Tahawi

    al-‘Aqida al-Tahawiyya contains the fundamentals of Islamic doctrine and monotheism, as derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah and held by the Orthodox Sunni Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’a) for the past 1400 years. Shaykh Ninowy, a specialist in the sciences of hadith and ‘aqida, has studied the Islamic sciences across the Muslim world with some of the most respected scholars of our age.

    Public Transportation Directions
    The Rabita Institute can be accessed by bus route 121 from either Métro Cote-Vertu or Sauvé. One takes the bus until arriving at the shopping plaza where the Institute is located, which is on the south side of Rue Sauvé. Just across the plaza is a store called Adonis, which has this name written in large bold red letters and is easily recognizable. The door to get to the institute is unmarked, but can be found just to the left of the Arabic pastry shop facing the parking lot of the plaza.     Recommendation to Students
    We highly recommend that students wishing to attend the lectures prepare before hand. For this we would recommend that a copy of the text be downloaded from www.alhaqq.net and read in advance. While reading the text, one should take notes of any questions. It is also advised to print a copy of the text and to take notes during the lessons.
