Support forum for converts

Assalamu alaykum

With the hopes of reaching out specifically to disenfranchised and solitary Muslim converts, I have started a support forum for American converts to Islam. This is intended to be a place where we can talk about the specific challenges, issues, and blessings of being American Muslims, inshallah. This is not a place to learn about Islam, per se; but rather to encourage one another to implement Islam to the best of our abilities.

There are many discussion boards, chat rooms, groups, and listservs available for Muslims. Ours is specifically designed for American converts… all others are kindly requested to honor our purpose and not join the forum if you don’t fall in that group.

To join the forum, click the link below and register with a username, password, and email. Once your account is activated, you will receive a confirmation email inviting you to post on the forum.

Looks good. I am also an American convert although not exactly "disenfranchised and solitary" - having been a Muslim for seven years and with a good support system behind me, masha'Allah. Nevertheless, I will definitely check out the forum insha'Allah.

Not so much for solitary Muslims anymore... just a general support type forum for American converts to discuss what is unique to our situation.

Site was moved and people need to register, so inshallah that will happen soon. As of now, no discussions yet.
