The old and gold urdu book "Ilm un Nahw" was recently translated into English by Madrassah Zakariyya . S.Africa. It a nice concize information for Nahw.

Another good book I came across and actually studied the 1st volume is Arabic Tutor Vol 1-4.. This is english translation by Ml. Ebrahim Mohammed of the urdu book "Arbi Ka Muallim" which is also in 4 parts. It covers all the aspects of Sarf and Nahw.

Regarding Sarf, there is a new english translation of Safwatul Masaadir. This should be nice book for beginers too.

    Brother Abu Hajira,

    Jazakumullah for that good news.

Could you please provide some phone numbers or email addresses of the people who I can order the Ilmun Nahw translation from.

I think there is only the first volume out for the Arabic Tutor right? Ml. Ebrahim emailed me the whole first volume. Have the other volmes been translated from Urdu to English?

About Safawatul Masadir, that's the book with all those various verb forms filled with many Sayghas right? It's not directly related to Sarf right? If it is the one which has the many verb forms as well as nouns, then could you also provide me some information on how to acquire that book in English.

Regarding Ilm un Nahw, the translation has not been published openly, however the copies (well photocopies with permission) of it were sold in our Madrassah. I can contact the Madrassah Directly.

Ml. Nazim : All the books queries go to Ml. Ebrahim Mohammed himself. Yes all the volumes of Arbi ka muallim have been translated, however they have not been published. I am not even sure if Maulana is distribution the Vol 2-4 I happen to have the copy of it because of daily contact. Muhahaha :P

InshAllah I will talk to Ml. Ebrahim tomorrow and get the latest information.

Psst. There is another book under publishing .. "Treasures of Arabic Morphology" ... given out to only selected reader as yet.. I will inform about that as soon as I get the info.

BTW . If someone wishes to contact Ml. Ebrahim directly about these books they may do so at alinaam@alinaam.org.za .. Please make it attention to Ml. Ebrahim Mohammed.

    Jazakumullah for that.

Ml. Ebrahim emailed me the whole Treasures of Arabic Morphology pdf file : )

Would you be able to mail me the Ilmun Nahw English book? I'll take care of all the costs. Scans of the book are fine as well with permission obviously. Currently at www.alimahprogram.org we are using the 3 Volume Madinah set. The highest level has finished half of book two. So we will be needing some other English Nahw book. They are also doing the English Tasheelun Nahw book.

Since you talk to Maulana daily, can you kindly pass on this opinion that the Treasures of Arabic Morphology Volume 1 is too huge. Volume #1 is 360 pages. The file he sent me, I was able to put two pages of it on one page. I was able to make it into 180 pages. Just a humble opinion....
