    Got the following email, thought I'd share it here :


    Spiritual Retreat with Shaykh Muhammed Al Yaqoubi

    This mail is to inform you of the upcoming four day spiritual retreat
    with our beloved Shaykh Muhammed Al Yaqubi, in Marksfield, Leicester. The
    dates for the event will be 5,6,7 and 8th of August.

    The four day retreat will consist of studying famous classical texts on
    the purification of the heart, along with various other classes on self-purification, and group dhikr sessions.

    The course will begin at 6pm on Thursday 5th August and will finish
    Sunday 5pm August.

    Spaces are LIMITED for brothers/sisters due to the size of the room and
    registration in advance is required.

    Preference will be given to previous retreat attendees. (Please notify
    any brothers/sisters who attended the last retreat, who are not on this
    email list).

    At present due to accommodation restrictions there will be no spaces for

    children unless you can organise accommodation at a nearby hotel.

    Cost:
    £50 - Attendance of course, accommodation and food
    £40 - Attendance of course with no accommodation

    Due to our overheads, we cannot confirm your place until we have
    received your payment in full. Deadline for payment is 16th July

    All applications will be processed at the discretion of the organisers.
    We reserve the right to ask attendees to discontinue their attendance at
    Any time during the retreat. The retreat is strictly a spiritual event,
    and will not be a forum for any political discourse. Please note there will
    be no refunds.

    Ratby Lane
    Markfield,
    Leicestershire
    LE67 9SY.

    Travel: Markfied Conference Centre is 8 miles West of Leicester. It has
    excellent road, rail, and air connections. The Centre is less than two
    miles from junction 22 off the M1, along the A50 towards Leicester. Nottingham and Derby are about 20 miles away, Birmingham is only 30 miles and can be easily reached via the M42. The rail journey from London to Leicester is just over an hour and Leicester has fast and frequent connections to other cities.

    Groups can easily arrange a shuttle service between the station and the
    Centre. It is a quick and easy journey from East Midlands Airport
    (Junction 24 of the M1).
