    Default Is learning psychology haram?

I study psychology and I was wondering what Islam has to say about it.

Almost all of the psychologists that we study are jewish and also some factors involve the theory of evolution (Darwin rubbish).

if you consider physcology as haram just cause of the modern physcologists are nonmuslim, then you are wrong, Muslims have invented and discovered lots of things before nonmuslims. There has been many muslim philosophers, physcologist.

Shaykh Akshamshaddin who was the master of Fatih Sultan Mehmed, conquerer of Istanbul, discovered the existence of germs before pasteur.Shaykh Akshamshaddin lived in 1400, there did not use to be any technical equipments. Shaykh Akshamshaddin was also a wali of Allah subhanahu wa taala. I shall let you know more of him inshaAllah.

I doubt very seriously that any Muslim scholar who knows what the term means has declared the study of psycchology haram.

I actually know of one. But we also have to remember that people should be asked "what do you mean?" I haven't really heard anything against psychology -- I think that you should ask SunniPath and not a message board for religious knowledge. This knowledge is deen not teen.

as part of the syllabus we do not learn about islamic psychology which is unfortunate. Instead we learn about psychologists like Milgram
