A while back there was a Zaytuna Burdah night that featured several scholars (including a weeping Habib Ali) and one of the most beautiful Quran recitations I've ever heard by a Shaykh named Shaykh Murtada. I hadn't heard anything else from him or about him...until now. I was reading through a web forum and one of the posters provided the below information. Enjoy.

salams to one and all.
Some time ago, one of you angelic souls had shared a beautiful link from a video of a night at Zaytuna featuring one of the loveliest Qur'an recitations I have ever heard in my whole life. It is from the episode marked "Burdah Night at Zaytuna":
That particular recitation had stayed with me, and from time to time I would go back to it. Tonight I spent a bit of time looking up this beautiful qari, and I think I might have found some more info about him:
His name I believe is Shaykh Murtada Bakour, and he is an imam, insha'allah from Syria, who is now in the Gulf region.
There is a website below that features 7 surahs from him:
In addition, the following link features some taraweeh prayers (why is that always spelled with two "ee"s?) and a qunoot as well.
