In the states there are many converts to Islam from other faiths, primarily Christianity. For many of these converts, such as myself, their parents are accepting of their decision alhamdulillah, however they ask us to accompany them to church on occasion.

My understanding is that it is allowed to attend a church ceremony by the request of one's parents or grandparents Attending a church wedding - Sunnipath and I have also heard of a hadith before where a woman did visit a church and told the Prophet (s) about this, and He (s) spoke about how the Christians have gone astray in their faith, however he did not scorn her for going.

Does anyone know the rules and guidelines a muslim must follow while in a church?
