Br. new_muslim , there is more to Wudhu then the Ayah. However The Faraidh of Wudhu are as you have mentioned, but the will void off the person of any Zawaid (Sunnah and Mustahabat) etc.
Here are the factors that break ones Wudhu :

Also while you are on that page see the Sunnah of Wudhu as well. Every muslim should be well versed with these masaail.

I am kind of confused brother the question i was asking was does changing my son's diaper break my wudu yes or no??????
Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
No it does not. However, it would be best to wash one’s hand after.
As for what breaks one’s wudu, please check the Hanafi Fiqh archives at www.sunnipath.com

It definitely does not break your wudhu.
My Ustadh was talking about this a few weeks ago, and i can remember him saying that changing a babies diaper does not break your wudhu.
No it doesn't break the wudu.
If it did then I would be doing it all the time since sometimes kids get bad diarhhea.

No, your Wudhu will not break. you will only have to wash your hands after changing your child's diaper.
And Allah Ta'ala knows best
Well remember there is no harm in doing waduu. Its always better to be safe than sorry

As posted by many posters above, changing diapers does not invalidate wudhu.
- QuduriThe incidents which invalidate wudu' are:
1. Anything which exits from the two paths.
2. Blood, pus or serum when they exit from the body and encroach on a place which it is incumbent to purify.
3. Vomit, if it was a mouthful.
4. Sleep lying down, or leaning [on one's side] or reclining such that if it were removed he would fall.
5. Loss of consciousness through fainting or insanity.
6. Laughter in any prayer containing ruku` and sujud.
Allah knows best.
