Alhamdulila i went to the birmingham one and masha'Allah it was really good, Sheikh Ibrahim was there too wich was an added bonus!

First time I had been to a Sheikh Hamza talk so it was really refreshing to see and hear such beautiful reminders and thoughts on Aqeedah, masha'Allah.

I took a recently reverted sister too, and masha'Allah she was really fascinated by the talk. Alhamdulila.

i was hoping he would go thru the whole book quickly.
typical shaykh hamza -most of the lecture was like a massive introduction.
masha allah, informative and many reminders from previous lectures.
i suppose we should buy the book!

They sold it on the day.

And I don't find it a vaild excuse, causing fitnah and disunity in the comminuty if the masjid decides to charge for the event.

I mean, if you have the money, then know your not wasting it [it will actually benifit youmore, than spending it on clothes etc]
and if you really cannot afford the amount, I'm sure they wouldn't stop you from attending.

Yeah the book is really good masha'Allah well what i read of it anyway.
Its likely to b in the shops soon so insha'Allah you can get it.

As for the pricing of the event so what...£10 for the sake of seeking knowledge is a tiny cost. They were giving free food so maybe the cost involved that too. I think we need to all go back to the reason we attend these talks and not dwell on minor things. As for fitnah and disunity in the community, well i dnt know wich community that is? Birmingham maybe. Let it be....it will be old news soon enough
