    Assalamu alaikum,

I asked a respected Alim about the incidents mentioned in the hadith in Bukhari. His answer was characteristically clear, consice, and convincing. The events as reported occured before the beginning of Wahi, the establishment of Shariah, and the detailing of halal and haram. There is therefore no question of sin or fault on the side of Rasulullaah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam. In fact, the incidents mentioned in the hadith above, and other incidents similar to it, are beautiful examples of how Allah would regularly cause extraordinary events to happen--in this case the appearance of Jibreel alaihissalaam, who appeared in his real form to no human being besides Rasulullaah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam-- in order to protect Rasulullah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam from so much as even slipping, much less carrying out any act that would be later be declared haram well after the start of revelation.

May Allah bless our scholars past and present who have taught us beautiful wisdoms like this: "The slips of the prophets are the virtues of the Awliyah."

May Allah help us to be like Rasulullaah sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam in every aspect of our lives.
...la daira innaa ilaa rabbinaa munqaliboon...

    ...aqbil wa la takhaf...

    Asalamu Alaikum and JazakAllahKhair

Brother, in your article you used "Tafsir ibn Ibbas[ra]" (Tanwir al Miqbas is said to be from it) from the Jordanian website. Does anyone know the authenticity of this tafsir and it's attribution to Hazrat Ibn Abbas (ra)? I have read part of it before and although I have not seen anything from it wrong according to my ulema, everytime I hear of it they say "sometimes it is attributed to Ibn Abbas(ra)" and the like of sayings. So is there proof that it was in fact from Ibn Abbas (ra), and what is the status of the sheikh (rahimullah) who compiled it from the main text?

The chain of narrators for the tafsir is called "Silsilah al-Kizb" (Chain of lies)!

Cannot be attributed to Hadhrat ibn Abbas
