Where can I study the Arbaeen with Sanad in the US?
Does anyone know where I can study the Forty Hadith of Imam An-Nawawi with a teacher who has a chain? I'm looking for someone that I can travel to for weekend visits and correspond with via e-mail or telephone. It would also be nice if the teacher is located within a 6-8 hour drive from Ohio.

Sheikh Bilal Ansari is the main teacher for Darul Hikmah. Masha Allah he's an amazing young scholar. They are about to start a 40 weekend program as well. Check out their site.

khair, i live in cleveland, and their are not any Ulema-e-Kiraam to study from in my area, do what Maulana Sahib said and contact Darul Hikmah, i'm starting the course this summer.

Yes, I live in Cleveland as well. Don't sleep on Shaykh Mas`ud Laryea. He is the Imam of Masjid `Uqbah and he is currently teaching from Rawdul Murba' (a Hanbali text). I studied a Maliki fiqh text with him last summer. Unfortunately he doesn't have time for much else. So I have to look for other ways. The Darul Hikmah program looks nice but I can't go to Illinois every weekend. However if it's possible to have some variety and flexibility of travel and correspondence that would be good.

What is it that you want to achieve by studying 40 Nawawi with sanad?
Also, are you looking to study it with sharh? ... which one?
AND in what language (Arabic or English)?

My objective in studying it is to gain a greater understand of the ahadith in it and their proper application. Yes, I would like to study it with Sharh. I am asking for sanad as I would like to teach it as well, Insha Allah. I would like to study it with an English speaking teacher that can walk me touch on points of the Arabic that might be beneficial for a person at me level of Arabic (beginning).
