I'm worried though, I think I might have it. Besides me going crazy over that guy, there's loads of other things that are going on in the family, but I can't mention them on here. Also, whenever I used to pray, no matter how depressed I was, I used to feel peace in my heart after praying, like i've had a heavy burden taken off my shoulder, you know that fresh breezy feeling.

But I don't get it at all anymore, I pray and I still feel no peace I just cry like my efforts are going to waste and I feel exhausted like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I think of suicide and death alot, I can't even help myself in everyday things like at work, trying to get a better job, trying to make something of myself.

I passed my driving test two years ago and I still haven't bought a car, I can't cook, I want to learn but I just feel like everything is too much for me. The tinyest little things can feel like I will never be able to achieve them. I have no self control and I'm very indecisive. I cry and get so emotional over the smallest things like when someone makes talks about their relationship and how happy they are, I get so jealous and start feeling sorry for myself because I have nothing compared to most of the people I know.

Sometimes I get so angry, frustrated and emotional that I cry and scream and feel like ripping my hair out because I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel
I know somethings not right, someone has done something to me I know they have, it's happened before in my family, but how do I find out? I don't know any religious people who can help.
That fresh feeling you speak of, this is Allahs kindness on you, completely keep your thoughts on Allah as much as you can when you pray and then you'll be sure to feel free from pain, quit any doubts.

ALLAHS FACE IS WHEREVER YOU TURN YOURSELVES.

    Salaam

I try so hard to concentrate, believe me I try and force myself to think of Allah while I'm praying, but I find it almost impossible. Instead, I think about that guy, or my family and friends, the things that are happening to me, getting scared and worrying, when I should be fully concentrating on Allah (SWT)

Why are these people living so happily? Don't tell me they will get punished in the hereafter because you don't know that, they might be just as happy as they are now.

Maybe I should give up praying and stop covering up and go and get myself another boyfriend......... it works for everyone else.
Sister, you speak as though this is the real real and the final world. Allah put us here to worship, those who enjoy themselves now are only deceived by the shaiytaan himself, read the story of "the meeting of shaiytaan and Muhammad(SAW)" on the inspirational stories and history page on this site.

"And Allah will let them enjoy themselves(sinners/kafir) for a little while!"

Rasoolullah(SAW) has said that: "To a disbeliever (or loveful sinner) this world world is heaven but, to a (true) believer this world is a prison."

(Islam will get their true Junnah, even the prophets had their hard times on Earth and they bore more weight than anyone in mankind, on their minds and hearts, but they still stood up in Allahs name and now have been given Allahs promise, junnah)

"While we try worshipping haRD TO Allah, Allah places a test on front of us...", such as our brothers or sisters or others enjoying themselves with this world, WHICH MAY CAUSE US TO WANT THE SAME BUT, THOSE WHO FIGHT IT SHALL GET EVEN BETTER WHEN AND WHEREVER ALLAH WILLS.

"O Allah there is no true comfort but in the afterlife" (Muhammad (SAW)

On the day of judgement Allah will ask the man who was the richest person on Earth, "DID YOU SEE ANY GOOD IN YOUR LIFE" HE'LL REPLY: "NO MY LORD" AND THEN WILL BE DIPPED IN THE FIRE OF HELL AND THEN THE POOREST MAN ON EARTH WILL BE ASKED, "DID YOU SEE ANY EVIL IN YOUR LIFE" reply:"NO MY LORD" AND THEN WILL BE GIVEN A DIP IN A SPRING OF JUNNAH.

The poor servan t of Allah seems so upset to the eyes but if only we could feel what they feel when they worship Allah.

The richest man and sinning man seems so happy the eyes but surely we feel as incomplete as even he does, though he has the world (which is dying slowly)

    Salaam everyone.

I went to see someone religious. She was recommended to me by a friend. She asked for my name full name and my mothers full name, she went quiet while she was either reading something or looking at something, and then, the first thing she said was that someone has definitely done magic on me. The thing is, I didn't even go and see her reagrding magic, I just went o see her so she can tell me what to read and talk to her.

I was telling her my problems and that I can't get over this guy no matter how hard I try, I also told her that I don't find peace in praying anymore, and thats when she took my name and mothers name to tell me someone did something. She didn't tell em who it was. I believe her because my friend was having very bad problems in her fmaily and they thought someone did jadoo on them, they kept going back to this same lady but she told them she has checked many times but she can't find that anybody has done anything to them. But, with me she said it straight away that someone has done jadoo on me.

She told me there is something in my house, now I don't know what she ment and silly me I didn't even ask her to explain because I was so scared after hearing that someone has done jadoo on me, I trying to take it all in while she was saying allsorts, she said something got to me in the middle of the night when I woke up to go to the toilet. And, again I didn't ask her what it was, everything is a blurr to me. I'm so silly I didn't even ask her anything in detail, like how long this will last, how long my depression will last, if this thing is harmful, everything was just blurred after hearing the first thing she said.

Anyway, she gave me a Taweez to wear at all times, she also gave me a paper with something written on it in arabic, she said this is a bath taweez, she said I need to soak it in water and then put that water over me while having a bath.

She also told me to light up a folded paper and circle it around my head a few times, then let the paper burn and let the smoke go towards both my wrists.

Does anyone know what she ment when she said something got to me when I was going toilet in the middle of the night, and that I have something in my house?

the thing is I don't know if she ment there is something in ym mums house or the one I just moved into, because this depresson has been goign on for years so I guess she metn my mums house right? That's where it probably started.......

    Thanks for your help.

I told her I won't remember all these things that i'll hvae to do, so she said I'll show you how to circle the fire round your head. Before doing do, she told me that once she has done this for me, at least some of this jadoo will go away.

So she started circling the lighted rolled up paper around my head. After she finished she told me again that now she's done some it for me, hopefully u will feel a bit better already.

This was on Sunday that I saw her, yet I still feel exactly the same as I did before I went to see her. I knwo it doesn't work straight away (or does it), but she did say some of it will go, it hasn't though, I'm worried.

    as salamu alaikum,

I was just reading your post sister and I wanted to inform you that the so called 'religious' woman is getting help from the jinns and what she prescribed for you is not according to Quran and Sunnah; so, my sincere advise to you is that please stay away from such people and practices and do not put your life and imaan at risk inshaAllah.

She asked for your mother's name which is a clear indication of someone who uses black magic. How she knew your situation without you telling her? She had a little chat with your jinn companion when she went quiet.

If I were you, I would tear up the taweez (the paper with writings on it) and then burn it because it could also harm you if you follow up her instructions. May Allah protect you, ameen.

I wouldnt be so concerned if someone had done black magic or not...it could be hassad or evil eye from someone but whatever the case, there's a way you can cure yourself with Allah's kalaam and Help. But if you really want to find out if it's black magic or not then please consult a person who adheres and treats according to Quran and Sunnah.

I recommend performing ruqqiyah on yourself or ask someone with good iman to read it over you. (read the ‘ways of treating sihr’)

Here’re some links from islamqa .com that might be helpful... do the search on the Qs#.
the url didnt work for some reasons.

At the end of the day, remember it is Allah who cures so seek cure and protection from Him only. Know that if Allah does not wish harm for you, the whole mankind and jinns can get together to harm you but will not be able to do so.

    wassalam
