~ CHARACTER-BUILDING ~

Today and tomorrow we live our lives like maybe we'll never die.
We carry on our machine, mindless ways,
We don't stop to prioritize.

Not only praying or talking of Islam will help save our souls,
let's not forget our character-building should be part of our goals.

It could be a moment we take,
to spend time with a child or to give water to a pet.
A second to smile at our mothers,
showing our gratitude, try not to forget.

Many a man thinks he has reached enlightenment
but doesn't see what is right under his nose.
His family is off the path due to his forcefulness,
but none of this he knows.
Once he is bearded he thinks he will reach paradise
but he is oh so wrong, for he has to make his family realize!

Let's pray he does not shout or twist their arms
to attain his 'faith' in Islam.
Let's pray he stays Islamic (peaceful), gentle and calm.

For to correct a wrong, you can use mild persuasion.
But Allah does not recommend pushing too hard as this will cause abrasion.

Today and tomorrow, we rush through this world not appreciating Allah's wonders.
We do not take the effort to thank Him,
We only zoom in on human blunders…
