I am not aware of similar events taking place on a regular basis. What I do know is, that a number of the young men from the video, along with other young men from various South African townships and Botswana, are on scholarships at Dallas College. Where they are immersed in very intensive study of Deen (Islam, Iman and Ihsan), 'Politics', languages and IT. This, combined with suhba and 'community service' is shaping fine, knowledgeable and wise young men who are returning to their locales and calling others to Islam, with some success.

For example, I am aware that three of the young Botswanan men, had called, at least, forty others to Islam in their town/village. This was in 2006, when I met some of these young men. This same 'pattern' is being repeated at various levels, meeting with varying degrees of success across Southern Africa.

And may Allah bring the people of Africa into the Deen and establish them with an established Islam, and support and reward the efforts of the people there in His way.
