    Default Learning arabic..

    Salaam,

I was wondering if anyone here can share any useful websites on learning arabic? I think there are quite a few people here who can speak it rather fluently right? Any advice to someone who'd like to learn to read/speak arabic?

Here are 2 websites I found..
    http://www.alsunna.org/arabic/index.htm
    http://mec.sas.upenn.edu/marhaba/lesson_plans.html

My arabic friend told me that arabic grammar can be a headache, is it true?

Sad thing is I learnt to read it when I was like 10-11 but I stopped for like 5-6years due to busyness in school so I kinda restarting!

    Walaikum salaam

Yes, arabic grammar is a headache! But, anything that helps increase your relationship with the Quran can only be good.

"By Time, Verily Man is in loss... except those who believe, do righteous deeds, exhort one another to truth and have patience." [Surah Asr:103]

"On no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than it can bear..." [Surah Baqarah:2, Verse 285]

Arabic grammar is actually pretty fun, or perhaps I am just really nerdy. Either way, think positive.

If only in our youth we knew of the benefits of knowing Arabic.

It's never too late to start learning though.
