My name is Ibrahim i'm from Spain and it is my first time for me in that forum.
I'm REVERT muslim alhamdulillah, and i follow Imam Abu Hanifa ra.

I'm with Dawat-e-Islami, but i do not have problems with Deobandi, here in Mallorca (where i live) is full of dawat us salafiyyah, and i did shahada with them but are all time fighting and saying everyone is deviated except themselves.

They have large discussion within salafism, on diferent topics and of the different branches of salafism. Here in Mallorca salafis are not jihadis, but dislike a lot prople as Zaik Nair, Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips, Yusuf Estes, etc... they consider them deviant and in limit with kuffar (so veru extrem salafism).

Then i discover Dawat e Islami and i feel very good with them alhamdulillah.

I hope we could have interesting discussions here inshallah

This is off-topic. How is the 'environment' in LUMS sister? I have heard that it is very vulgar and not islamic at all. Is it true?

As salaamu 'alaykum,

I've read that to obtain a study visa in SA one must provide proof of health insurance. How does one do that because if you're not employed in the US [due to being abroad and studying], the cost for health insurance is extremely hard to maintain.

How do US students afford this requirement? Is there any way around this requirement?
