Assalam o alaykum,
Imam al-Mutakallimin Allamah Asfahani (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
من ضروريات الدين ان علم الغيب مختص باللّه تعالى
It is from the fundamentals of Din that ilm-e-ghayb is specific to the Zat of Allah.
Imam Shafi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
ان اللّه تعالى استاثر بعلمه الغيب
Verily Allah has specified the knowledge of unseen to Himself only.
[Kitab al-Umm, II:202]
When Mujaddid Alf-i-Sani (may Allah have mercy on him) read that a certain ghali Sufi named Abdul Karim Yamani said that Allah is not Alim al-Ghayb, so Imam said, when I hear stuff like this, my Faruqi veins/blood boils, and I have no strength to hear nonsense like this. Then he went on to said that to say Allah is not Alim al-Ghayb is like doing takzib of Allah.
[Maktubat, II:100]
No one beside Allah has the complete knowledge of unseen but different individuals are given different amount of news of ghayb or "anba ul-ghayb/akhbar ul-ghayb."
