My heartfelt apologies brothers. I'll restart the process ASAP.
Alamgir (RA) knew how to tackle treachery. That is all we can learn from the episode. It is not that every Kind faces treachery. Out of those who faced treachery some succumbed to it and others came out on the top. Alamgir (RA) was amongst the winners. You do not have many examples of Kings ruling for fifty years in the vast history of mankind.
This is a pitfall of the theory of looking at a problem from enemy's point of view.

السلام عليكم
Yes indeed, fifty turbulant years of constantly facing treachery of one faction or the other never wavering from the path of Adal and steadfastness in Deen. You do not have many examples of Kings ruling for fifty years in the vast history of mankind.
Unfortunately, main effect (not side effect) of looking at problems from enemy's point of view overtime becomes 'sadaqta amanna', which is down and out to the pit of ignorance. Lot of Indian muslims are vehement in lebeling Sultan Alamgir (RA) as tyrant (naudhubillah) in unison with Hindus, digesting everything that our distorted history lessons disseminates. This is a pitfall of the theory of looking at a problem from enemy's point of view.
