Seeing the Holy Prophet in Dream

    Adil Salahi, Arab News

    Friday 11 January 2008 (03 Muharram 1429)

The Prophet (pbuh) has made it clear that such dreams in which he appears are true. Anas quotes the Prophet as saying: “Whoever sees me in a dream has actually seen me. Satan cannot appear in my guise.” He also said: “Dreams by a believer count as one part of 46 parts of prophethood.” (Related by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).

The link is not working, however the article can be read in Arab News newspaper.
If there was any Prophet to come after me, surely would have been Umer (RA). Saying of the Prophet (PBUH).

but im sure you do know interpreting dreams requires you to know Tafseer ul Quran, Ahadith etc and that you possess Zuhd, wara' wal hikmah etc? have you completed an 'Alimah course then sis?

you say you have Ijazah in spirituality, that means you dont have Ijazah in Quran, Ahadith and Fiqh? But, interpreting dreams requires this Ukhti, im sure you should know this.

    Assalam alaikum wa rahmat Allah
With all due respect, this sequential mentality about sacred knowledge is a model for literal knowledge and not ilm Ghaib (Islamic sprituality which interprating dream is a kind) . studying ilme Figh, tafsir and ahadith are just an excellent effort and does not garantee one to receive ilm Ghaib. Allah (SWT) is the one who gives ilm (ghaib) to ones heart and solely by his own will. I have seen not very Literate but pious brothers who were spritualy powereful. Dream interpretation and (shohood) Allah bestows on variety of people. I am no scholar nor do I have been blessed with dream interpretation. Neverthless I admire the sisters intyerpretation . Wassalam
