Assalamu Alaykum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh..
i been in Tareem for almost three years in Dar Zahrah.
it was the best experience in my life.
syukur Alhamdulillah Allah gave me the chance to live in the same place with auliya'.
the Ramadhan was really really nice, you only sleep on the day time. not for really long though, cause you trying to do amal as much as you can. and at night you will go to houses to learn kitab from hubabat..and one of them is Hubabah Nur (Habib's Umar Alhafidz wife). the taraweh is the best too! Habib Umar will lead the prayers and he will khatam on every 17th Ramadhan! but sad i only been in Ramadhan in Tareem once, hoping to go there again, InshaAllah.
when you live there, you don't even know what's happening in the world out there,
no television, no computers, no internet.
your entertainment was prayers and ratib (awrad) that you read for the day.
you life just about learning new things about Islam, people in there will always willing to teach, MASHAALLAH! all they do only remind you about Allah, and your love to Saydina Rasulullah SAW.
another best thing is when it's raining. oh, it's the best time to make duas,
you really feel Allah is there listening to you because the environment when it's raining,
everyone will stand under the rain and read one of the qasidah asking for rahmah and maghfirah.
another great majlis is the mawlid, we have mawlid on every Friday night. habib Umar and some other habib (e.g Habib Mashur) will give speech in between maghrib and isha. then we'll be reading Kahfi in jamaah.
walhasil, I'm really really really hoping and praying so that Allah will send me there. at least once before I die. Please make dua for me, thank you.
