Both of those mentioned religions are looked upon in Poland so I'm used to critiques from other Polish - and don't care any more. On Solna 1 there is a tiny restaurant serving halal food. Apparently you can also get meat from them. Currently I live in UK and visit Poland only every 2 years. I married in Iranian tradition a Muslim man. All: my husband and his parents have Islam written on their hearts. It took me quite a while - over 3 years - to appreciate their knowledge and recently I decided to look further into Islam. Please pray for me as I really want to become one of you.

Assalam Aalicum - My wife is Polish and have a strong catholic faith. Can any polish brother or sister advice me how to convince her to study Islam? I brought her some books but she criticised on the authenticity of those books and did not much impress. She has strong religious values and does not want to leave them. I 'd be grateful if anyone can suggest any thing. Thanks

    Wa alaikum assalaam, brother.

Perhaps you can discuss with her on the Oneness of Allah, and how Isa/Jesus (as) is a prophet of Allah and not God. Make sure you maintain your calm while discussing or else the discussion might not be fruitful.

May Allah guide her and all of us in the right path. Ameen.

    Wa Alaikum Assalam.

My best advice would be what I have presented to my mom and roommates. I come from a strong, Polish, Catholic family. I basically told them that I was not trying to convert them, but I feel as if as a citizen of the world that they should become knowledgeable about the 3rd largest, and most quickly-growing religion in the world. It is also respectful to you that they know your traditions and beliefs.
    Teach me.

    Wa Alaikum Assalam.

I apologize if I'm incorrect, I thought that Christianity and Judaism were still larger. I did not look up numbers right before I posted, just went off memory.

    Here is an approximation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_r...r_of_adherents

Judaism is actually quite down on the list.

That's absolutely right, faith is always earned, not changed by force. I hope one day she will find the truth of the life.

Present her with 'Miracles of the Quran' CD or booklets - it made me start to ask questions some time ago...(I'm a Polish revert)
Discussion about the Prophets is a good starting point - I remember my shock when I discovered that Islam and Christianity have the same roots.
Encourage her to ask questions, and make sure you are prepared to answer them.
    Serve your own example.
Remember to always respect her views and beliefs.
