Breastfeeding while pregnant! (EXTREMELY URGENT!)

Asslamo Allaikum,

A distressed Sister who had a miscarriage (carrying twins) is asking about Breastfeeding and her current baby is six months old.

The Medical advice given to her by Doctors is that its up to her and the baby was lost due to problems in development; and more then likely breastfeeding will have no impact on the foetus [2nd baby,which is still alive] (although the research is controversial)!

She would like to know the Islamic ruling on the matter.

This is an extremely urgent query and I would appreciate the Ulama answering it so I can get back to the family, Insha’Allah.

as far as i know its ok to breastfeed whilst pregnant although probably health wise its better not too especially if its a young child likely to feed more often.
