    Salam

    Im not sure what you are trying to achieve.

    Do flick through all my threads to get a clearer picture rather than just picking up a few things to portray a certain impression.

    Between the day I made my first and today, I have learnt a lot about the etiquette of Islmaic discussion.

    I hope that shows in the later posts that you made.

    Quote:
    Daraqutni, Tirmidhi, Bukhari, Qurtubi, Ibn Maeen, Dhahabi, Al-Hakim, Abu Zur`ah, Abu Hatim, Yahya bin Saeed, Albani, Yahya Bin Ma’een, Su’alat ibn, Tareekh Baghdad, Ahmad Bin Hanbal, Ibn Hibban, Ibn ’Adi, Al-Daraqutni, Ibn Tahir al-Maqdisi, Ibn Al-Arabi al Maliki, Ibn A’sakir, Ibn Al-Jawzi, Al-Nawawi, Al-Mizzi, Al Dhahabi

    I have seen these names fly around over here.

    Never heard of half of them.

    Who are they and what do they do ? (Joke, just a quick explanation of their beliefs according to the sunnah)
    This is a style I adopt. If you look carefully enough you dont neeed most of the teachings of these scholars to be able to present an argument towards Shiite beliefs.

    All my other threads start off with a question as well, and I invite everone to answer and then try to make a conclusion. Flick through here to find fadak, the last sermon and many other threads I started for discussion not refutation.

    To prove this point just read my thread on ghadeer which I am just updating. Obviously no one here was able to provide much info so all the input there is mine.

    I like to ask a question and invite a discussion rather than dive in straight away. I hope you see that what you did is just portray an image of me that may not be true.

    Having shi'i friends myself whp go to 'ziyarat' and 'shaam' I pften hear this argument. They say that they pray towards the Qibla and not toward the grave. If that is the case then why do they simply not step go beyond the grave not face it.
    bro , its like masjid nabi. people just pray? if they cant move away then they can pray right there. he didnt say that he followsthe khulaah but all he said is that if sunnis pray behind their graves and no one complains then shiis do the same.

    dont you think we cant just assume that shia pray to graves without proof? also we cant say that they dont without proof.

    About prostrating on something natural in the Maliki Madhab.
    This is something you will learn at the very beginning when you study Maliki Fiqh, since it's concider a Sunnah in Salaah. Malikis do not recommend the turbah of Karbala though. While this is recommended in the Rafidhi madhab.

    Rafidhis:
    Natural = Wajib
    Karbala = Mustahhab

    Malikis
    Natural = Mustahhab

    Furthermore about the Rafidhis praying to graves.
    Unfortunetly some are Jahil and do so, just as it's unfortunate that we find Sunnis who do the same. If it's out of respect for the person, Ahlus Sunnah say it's haram.
    If for worship, then obviously it's shirk.

    What I read in Fazel Lankarani's Risalah is that it's allowed to do so infront of the Imams graves , if for the purpose of thanking Allah and so forth. Otherwise it's haram , n if for worship it's shirk.

    lol why do shia get so offended when we claim they pray to graves? Its not like we woke up one day and said hey lets say Shia pray to their imams graves!....Its what we see..its what we here..and ofcourse it isnt neccessarily true. I have to be on the shia with this...i mean even if u look at Pakistan..or other muslim countries..crazy ppl are dancing and praying to graves of saints and scholors. This is shirk..but it is blinded by Shaitan..giving the illusion tat it is okay. Im not saying shia do this act..im not saying they dont, but wen u criticize others..u gotta say that some fanatic so called 'sunnis' do the same. Also, u cant blame their whole faith on what a minority do, or atleast im told its the minority. I will accept they pray to graves if i see a hadith from their Kafi or others of the shia important books. Note, dont get me wrong, i am not a shia sympathetic person, i consider them very deviated. I am just not criticziing until I know whats what.
