SubhanAllah Ustadah Aisha Bewley is indeed a very good translator, and as with all human beings we can make errors in our translations or we may mistranslate certain things, however her translation in the main have been excellent and faultless.

May Allah continue to bless us with her translations and help her to make no mistakes in her translations with His tawfeeq

"Invite (people) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good counsel. And argue with them in the best of manners. Surely, your Lord knows best the one who deviates from His way, and He knows best the ones who are on the right path"[16:125]

    Assalamu Alaikum

The books that you mentioned are one the published portion of Turath's website, but are they being sold anywhere? Is Turath having some sort of financial problem, because it seems they are not printing even released books. The Kitab al Athar of Abu hanifah for example, has run out of everyone's stockpiles, and al Rashad told me that the problem was that Turath was not printing anymore. This was over a year ago.

Here are some examples for her translation of Risala ibn Abi Zayd:
When did Aisha Bewley translated the Risala of Ibn Abi Zayd? If you are talking about the translation put on her website, then this was translated by a person called Alhaj Bello Mohammad Daura.
And if he were to ask for a gentle lady in marriage, he would be refused, and when he leaves the world it does not miss him, and if he goes out, his going out is not noticed, and if he falls sick, he is not attended to, and if he dies, he is not accompanied to his grave.

All this time i thought it was hers because she never listed the translator's name so I assumed she did it herself. Jazakallahu khair the correction.

Good news: Turath just informed me that the first volume (out of two) of Lubab will be released in three months. May Allah help them to achieve this release by that time.

Also, Turath informed me that Sharh Ma'ani Al Athar and Athar as Sunan will be released some time this year, but Turath did not clarify specifically when. Does anyone know anything about these two works? Will they also be multi-volume like Lubab? Previously, Turath was abridging Sharh Ma'ani Al Athar, and they were calling it Talkhis. Now it seems that they are translating the entire version. It is an extremely comprehensive set, so is it going to be multivolume as well? What about Athar as Sunan?
