Default Makkah and Madinah New Plan Pictures

Sad that the old Madinah is slowly disappearing. Good Makkah is being extended though and inshallah the new stoning area will sort out the the overcrowding problems many face.

I find it quite disrespectful to have the Haram Shareef go under in the middle of the huge skys****ers. When the Imam of Masjid al-Nabwi will do a Khutbah against large buildings (including the sayings/warnings of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam regarding this), will they lock him up in jail for that?

I don't really mind the rest...

The new development looks magnificent especially medina. i think the sky s****ers go well plus they allow more people to live in the holy city. we may need it as i remember a hadith which states dajjal and his influence enters every city on earth but will not be able to enter Mecca and Medina. So on this hadith i wanna move to medina if he(dajjal) arrives.

    Salam alaikoum ,

there are surely new needs for the future hadjis but I must say that I would find it better to see these buildings in other cities like Ryad , Jeddah ect... .

When I did the Hadj , the brothers , sisters and me we didn't appreciate these big buildings close to the Kaaba ; it is like you have a feeling of oppression ; and one of the things we really did like in Medina was a feeling of freedom , much place with less buildings .
These buildings are to close to the Kaaba ; I hope it will not be case for Médina and the mosque of our beloved Prophet (saws) ...

    everyone,

I don't really mind the buildings as long as they are not too close to the Holy Masajid and that they are used for the accomodation of pilgrims and not for shopping and entertainment.

these photos bleed the heart. There is a narration close to these words if im not mistaken, that when you see tall buildings constructed in Makkah, and tunnels dug then know that matters have reach its peak, maybe the brothers knowledgeable than me know and provide the exact wordings. The Wahabi-khariji dominance in the lands of hejaz and arabia, the spread of the khawarij thought in the Muslim towns and communities, the resultant individualism/partisianship/materialism from the khariji ways, the construction of tall buildings in arabia, and the dominance of the kuffar and their ways over the lands of muslims leading to injustice and oppression blanketing earth, are all signs that we are in the last days. May Allah protect us all from the afflictions of this age, and from the bad outcomes, and lead us to the ways of His friends/Awliyah, and make us from the muhsinoon.
