    Barack Hussein Osama

Is Obama holding out on all of us?

    http://www.geeskaafrika.com/komo_somalikenya.jpg (nice imaamah )

U.S. Senator Barack Obama, right, is dressed as a Somali Elder by Sheikh Mahmed Hassan, left, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya, near the borders with GEDO, Somalia and Ethiopia. The area is at the epicenter of a severe drought that has hit the Horn of Africa region, after erratic and insufficient rains during the April-June season.

I'm not advocating for us to vote for this brother? (maybe he's a brother undercover), I just think it's a funny pic.

The best person in the upcoming elections that can change the status quo is Ron Paul. All other candidates will continue to more or less do the same things as are being done

Ron paul doesnt have a chance. John McCain has won too many delegates and there is no way Ron Paul can win enough to be made Republican candidate. He's coming in third at the moment, even Mike Huckaby is doing better.

Personally I don't like hillary clinton, she probably would not be very good for the muslim world. It's been said her style is very authoritarian and she's more righ wing leaning (meaning bad). Her policies are basically the same as McCain. Obama is really the only one who offers something different. And no offence to women, but a man is more suited to rule a country.

Akhi Dining_philosopher, in my opinion, Hillary is WAY more conservative and hawkish than McCain. I've heard many conservatives say they they'd vote for her over McCain if it came to those two making the final run.

I didn't mean for this thread to be political but khair.

Obama doesn't have a platform besides the word "change".

Out of all the candidates McCain seems the most honest. I don't think he'd bring the U.S. into another war. Remember he knows war, he fought in Vietnam, was captured and tortured for two years. He's also against the lobbyists interfering in the politics here so if he's successful in stifling their influence we may see a new direction for the foreign policy (i.e. the zionists will lose a lot of influence)

    And Allah Knows Best

Thats true. Ron Paul has a great record. He has been elected 10 times to congress and is an honest man. Just look at his record in congress. Consistently he has opposed war all the time as well as always tried to reduce government interference in domestic and foreign affairs. Just read about him and the books he has written and you will understand. Anyways the Ron Paul revolution is about starting a grassroots movement that will be a force to reckon with sometime in the future. The presidential election is just a starting point.

    JazakAllah

Interesting strategy. I guess the shi'ites really don't want him to be president.

Promoting him as a "muslim brother" only hurts his chances to win and everyone in their right mind knows that.

Who are you voting for? Let me guess. John McCain.

    That's why I said I don't like her.

I prefer Obama because he is more liberal and intellectual. McCain is too much of a layman. That and his age (71), he will probably die before his term is over.

Realistically, the Republicans don't have a chance because of George Bush's stuff ups. So it's either going to be Clinton or Obama.

I'm not promoting anyone, at least I'm not trying to. I just thought the imaamah looked cool.

    I don't think I'm going to vote.

I think republicans have a strong chance of winning again because I don't think americans are ready to elect a woman or an african american man as president.

Obama is a Christian, his father was a Muslim but became an Athiest. I don't see much of a connection.

Most important he plans to INVADE PAKISTAN. So no thanks to the two democrat leaders.
Abu Sa’id (ra) said that Rasullilah (salalahi alahi wasalam) said, “Whoever says:

Radeetu billahi rabban, wa bil-Islaami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin rasoolan

Jannah becomes obligatory for him (to enter).
    [Abu-Dawud]
