Nazar utarna/Removing the evil eye via burning peppers bidah?

You have to take 7 red peppers, then you have to waive the peppers top to bottom, then each hand 3 times then round on the head three times.

then you burn the peppers.

Is this bidah?

my friend practices this and am wonderin if this is bidah. He considers himself Fatiha duroodi. I do not know what it is.

Assalaamu alai kum

It is not bidah because its used as a treatment like

Medication,and ive seen many Scholars adopt the same method as you've

mentioned but they recite some dua on Red dry chillies and then take it around

the person head to toe and then burn the chillies.
