Default ahl-e-bait are not thru UmKulsoom (RA) and Ruqqaya(RA)?

A shia friend of mine said today, that the ahl-e-bait are not thru UmKulsoom (RA) and Ruqqaya(RA). My friend said this is so, because they were RasoolAllahs (Pbuh) step daughters. Basically Khadija's (RA) daughters from a previous marriage. Is this true ?

A preposterous claim that my friend made was sunni sayyids are basically those shias sayyids who had done takkiya do escape persecution. As there cant be any true sunni sayyids.

I don't think they had children, so technically, it would be impossible.
'Ja`far narrated from his father, Muhammad al-Baqir, that a man came to his grandfather, Zain al-`Abidin as-Sajjad, and said:

"Tell me about Abu Bakr!" He said, "You mean as-Siddiq?" The man said, "How do you call him as-Siddiq when he is against you, the Family of the Prophet ?"

He replied, "Woe to you. The Prophet called him as-Siddiq, and Allah accepted his title of as-Siddiq. If you want to come to me, keep the love of Abu Bakr and `Umar in your heart."'

The ahle bayt are not through hazrat Umm Kulsum (RA) and Ruqqaya (RA) not because they were step daughters, they were in fact REAL daughters of RasoolAllah SAWAS, but because they had no children.

As for the second claim this is totally ludricous and has no basis, even a little kid can see that. Its the old shia policy of when proven wrong claim they shia.
There are many sunni syeds with documented silsilahs of their lineage going back to the Prophet SAWAS tilll this day no modern shia scholar has shown his silsilah.
So for all we know they are lieing.

do we have any documented year of births of the two daughters of Rasool Allah . Like some seerah books that maybe mention it. I am not doubting that they are the real daughters of Rasool Allah but just want some numbers to back me up.

    Salaam

Well, there are actually two parts to this issue I bellieve according to Shias.
The first part is that according to Shias, only Prophet Muhammad, Fateemah, and the 12 Imaams are Ahl-ul-Bayt, so even the Shia descendants of Ali and so on are not "Ahl-ul-Bayt" in the strict sense of the word.

About Umm kulthum and Ruqayya, there is a difference of opinion I believe among Shia Aalims about whether they were his biological daughters or not. Some Shia writers such as Shariati clearly seem to indicate so, although others have a separate ideology (and the view of these people is obvious, since then they would have to admit that the Prophet gave his two daughters to Uthman).

Ayatullah Jafar Subhani also considers them the Prophets real daughters and not his step daughters.

I do know Sayyidina Umar had two kids with Sayyidah Umm Kulthum, both died young and childless.
